William Butler Yeats
"I have spread my dreams under your feet; Tread softly, because you tread on my dreams." from"He Wishes for the Clothes of Heaven." I love finding quotes like this because you get to see just how the writer's brain works! Of course, this could be interpreted in many different ways. I like to think, Yeats was a dreamer, and other people maybe questioned his dreaming! I know that I have had my dreaming questioned, and I, too have questioned my own dreaming. What does it take to not let someone trample your dreams? Are you dreaming and something is keeping you from creating what you are dreaming? Do it now, I say! Bring your dream to life! Do not wait until your career is over, believe me, I know! Take that step, pick up your dreams and do not throw them down for someone to tread on, make them yours!
